This is the first comprehensive report to capture the current state of the European banking sector’s response to climate-related risk and the low-carbon transition.

It is based on a survey carried out by ShareAction between July and November 2017 – after the publication of the final recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures in July 2017.

It aims to provide shareand bondholders in the 15 largest European banks with an overview of where the sector is positioned on climate-related risks and opportunities and the information required to encourage individual European banks to improve their climate-related performance.
