Our response to the Platform on Sustainable Finance’s draft report on social taxonomy

We welcome the draft report on a Social Taxonomy by the subgroup of the Platform for Sustainable Finance and the opportunity to submit our views.

A social taxonomy will help investors invest in promoting social factors by defining what constitutes socially sustainable financial activities, and function as a tool to fight ‘social washing’. It will facilitate investments that support a fair, inclusive transition to a net zero economy, prioritising the social needs of workers, communities, consumers and citizens.
