Together with other CSOs, including BankTrack, the Business and Human Rights Resource Center, Client Earth, E3G and Global Witness, we have sent a high-level letter to EU Member States representatives in the context of the inter-institutional negotiations of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). In the letter, we call on EU Member States to uphold due diligence requirements that cover financial institutions’ core activities, including lending, investing, and insurance in the final text.
