Sophie Mendes

Sophie joined the Financial Sector Research team at ShareAction in August 2025 and works on the insurers benchmark report, assessing the world's largest insurance companies on their environmental and social performance. Previously, she has worked on fostering deforestation-free supply chains and investment portfolios, funding research under the UK Government's International Climate Finance and building evidence on the impact of sustainability standards. In Sophie’s spare team, she enjoys volunteering on a farm in South East London, hanging out with her two naughty cats and swimming in any body of water.
