Sheila Kyobutungi

Sheila joined ShareAction in December 2025 as the Head of Health. She provides strategic and operational leadership for ShareAction’s Long-term Investors in People’s Health (LIPH) programme, driving a cross-cutting agenda to influence corporate practice, investing decisions and public policy on commercial determinants of health. She has previously worked at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Uganda where she shaped national policy, secured donor confidence, and drove measurable public health impact. She is passionate about harnessing investor influence to drive systemic change, promoting health equity, and holding corporations accountable for their impact on public health. Outside of work she enjoys long outdoor walks, exploring new cultures through food, attending West End shows, and visiting art galleries.
