Richard Gardiner

Richard joined ShareAction in 2025 to help contribute to our EU office efforts on sustainable policy for both financial institutions and the real economy. He has been working in EU policy since 2010 and started his career in the whirlwind of the EU legislative response to the 2008 financial crisis. He has worked in a trade association representing stock exchanges (where he fell into the financial world) and continued this when he moved to work with civil society more specifically on sustainable finance policy. When not striving for a more sustainable planet he is likely following the Republic of Ireland football team around the world on their inevitable quest for glory!
