Carl Liederman

Carl Liederman was appointed ShareAction’s Chair of the Board of Trustees in August 2023.

Carl is a leading international corporate lawyer, executive, and the Founder and CEO of Liedership Advisory, a strategic advisory that operates on a trusted-advisor model. He has considerable experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, responsible investing, project management, launching and scaling businesses and organizations, building teams and coalitions, as well as consensus building, stakeholder engagement, impact assessment and reporting, compliance, and governance.

Carl also has founded charities, led charities, chaired charitable boards, and advised leading charities and foundations. He has served in many leadership and advisory positions throughout his career.

He received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of International Law, and his B.A. from Pomona College.
