Mick McAteer is founder and Director of The Financial Inclusion Centre. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services. He holds a number of other positions including:
- Chair of the European Commission’s Financial Services User Group (FSUG);
- Member of Caritas Westminster advisory board;
- Member of The Registry Trust Consumer Panel.
He was formerly Principal Policy Adviser for Which?, the largest consumer organisation in Europe. He formulated the organisation’s policy on financial services. He was one of the founders of Hackney Credit Union where he served on the board from 2005-2007, and is a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE).
