Justine Holmes
Justine Holmes joined ShareAction in October 2024 and is Initiative Lead for the Clean Air initiative. She has previously worked at Korean based think tank, Solutions for Our Climate (SFOC), where she mobilized global and Korean corporates to advocate for the removal of key policy barriers preventing the widespread uptake of renewable energy. She also wrote an annual report charting G20 countries’ progress towards key climate goals and prior to that was co-author
for a Greenpeace East Asia report analyzing Samsung’s progress towards 100% renewable energy. Whilst in Australia, she worked as Zero Carbon Communities Coordinator for Melbourne based think tank, Beyond Zero Emissions (BZE), where she engaged local governments and communities to develop ambitious plans to achieve zero carbon status within 10 years. Justine has also worked as Head of
Policy & Research for UK based animal welfare NGO, World Animal Protection, where she led global campaigns to improve animal welfare policies and legislation. Justine has an MSc in Environment Decision Making and graduated from the University of Leeds with a joint honors degree in French and Politics. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors in nature walking and hiking with her dog, watching
her kids in their activities and relaxing with her family and friends.
